    1. Per administration need to bid on contract - will follow up
    2. Gerry - will have negative impact if vendors have to wait
  8. Earth Day: April 23, 2017 12-3pm
    1. Jorge - we picked theme
      1. PHS students: renewable energy
    2. PHS students - will be ordering t-shirts with theme printed on them
      1. APES club - "stand for what you stand on"
      2. HOPE club - "I run on renewable energy"
      3. Commission placed order for shirts (3XL, 3L, 1M and 1S)
    3. PHS students - came up with game ideas for kids
      1. Sun ray relay race (solar energy)
      2. Pin wheels (wind energy)
    4. APES class worked on posters during class for different kinds of energy: when advertising include school green team logo
      1. Sue - "do you have a logo" / students - "not yet"
      2. Commission agrees to use PHS Green Team on promotions where they participated
    5. Jorge - how many bags do we have?
      1. Gerry - none
      2. Sue - do we want to give out more bags? Order them?
      3. Jorge - don't need to do bags; we have done seeds/water bottles, etc.
    6. Earth Day vendor list provided by Jorge
    7. Split up to make calls and input into googledocs
    8. Melissa - requested to include local coffee companies such as cool beans
    9. Jorge - using DJ Shawn for entertainment; needs to sign contract
    10. Jorge - do we hire "the bat guy"
    11. 200 chairs and 45 tables ok - Jorge will order
    12. Should we pay for Artistic Giraffe? - Jorge
    13. Gerry - typically Gigi gets earth day food vendors
    14. Students - why are the vendors important? Can students cook food to serve?
    15. Has to meet heath regulations
    16. Need flyers - sooner better than later; advertise in town news 2 weeks prior to event; need photographer (usually student) singer? (Danielle Denoia?); can high school band attend? Traffic cones? (email to Guy Picone)

    1. Sue accepted to go to training with Climate Reality Project in Denver on climate change
      1. can give presentations afterwards
